#LearnSustainability: Ozone layer hole

The ozone layer hole is the zone of the atmosphere with a lower concentration of ozone gas, which acts as an air purifier and ultraviolet filter.

After reaching its historical minimum in the year 2000, the hole has decreased by 4 million km² due to the reduction in the use of harmful products agreed in the Montreal Protocol.
